Este ano resolvi fazer minha lista de acordo com o que mais escutei no ano.Nada mais justo já que o que mais ouvimos em casa ou no ipod é o que mais gostamos?

O Deerhunter é uma das bandas que acho mais legais e criativas.Microcastle é um dos 10 melhores discos da década.Discoteca básica dos 00’s.Estava numa Ursound quando fiquei sabendo do lançamento de Halcyon Digest através do meu amigo e fan do Deerhunter Diego. Ao chegar em casa a primeira coisa que fiz foi baixar o disco, e desde então não para de escuta-lo.Já tive diversas músicas preferidas.Cada vez que ouço soa diferente.Deerhunter é daquelas bandas de nerd art rock que não soam chatos e nem experimental demais.Eles abusam de longos solos de quitarra, climas sombrios,noise e punk de uma maneira muito pessoal.Eu sou fan do multi instrumentista Moses Archuleta,mas os climões mesmo são feitos parceria com o vocalista e multi instrumentista Bradford Cox.É difícil dar nomes aos bois, ainda mais a uma banda que sabemos que ainda tem um longo e bom caminho pela frente.

Obrigado Big Boy(Outkast),vc não entrou na minha lista dos melhores do ano, mas tenho que te agradecer por descobrir Janelle num restaurante.Janelle fez um dos discos de rhythm and blues mais legais do ultimo tempo.Janelle não se prendeu aos esteriotipos padrão da Black Music atual.Fez um disco conceitual onde conta a história de uma andróide e dentro deste disco misturou tudo.Simplesmente fez um clássico.Algumas cantoras atuais deveriam tomar Janelle como exemplo.Janelle além de ótima cantora é fan de arte,cinema.Tem um estilo pessoal que a muito tempo não se via,original, quase sempre vestindo roupa masculina preto e branco.Ela tem a voz de uma grande diva porém não se comporta como uma.De A a Z dos críticos musicais elegeram Archandroid como um grande disco.Janelle é Paris!em Paris sempre que via alguma negra estilosa repetia o nome de Janelle bem alto.E elas olhavam para trás e davam um sorriso.Espero que Janelle não se renda ao comercial bobo!!!

Teen Dream é daqueles discos que te acalmam, que ao colocar para dormir,pode te dar um sono tranquilo.É um disco que faz lembrar a pessoa que vc gosta ou alguma que gostou.Um disco delicioso,não me canso de ouvir. .Não há como negar que esse é um dos melhores trabalhos do ano.A maioria das listas o colocou entre os 10 melhores discos do ano.Até ver um vídeo e descobrir o belo e diferente vocal de Victoria Legrand, achava que o vocal do Beach House era masculino.O disco para alguns pode parecer sombrio e pode tb pode causar pesadelos.Cuidado! Beach House pode transformar seu sonho mais bonito no pesadelo mais estranho.rs...

07-The Walkmen –Lisbon

Eu conheci o The Walkmen no Fantástico.Foi a ultima banda que conheci através de lá.Era uma reportagem sobre bandas novas, e colocava o The Walkmen como principal representante dessa época.Sabemos que comercialmente falando quem estorou mesmo foram os Strokes,mas o The Walkmen se mantém firme e forte como bom representante da cena daquela época.Confesso que tem alguns discos do The Walkmen que não consigo ouvir até o fim.Lisbon não é desses,é um disco pop,suave, e recheado de canções acessíveis, guitarras acusticas, orquestrações e sons ambiente.A voz de crooner bêbado do vocalista Hamilton Leithauser é linda demais.Angela Surf City equivale a The Rat.Como eu toquei essa música na torre,era tão legal...Mais uma banda que parece estar evoluindo para um lado menos punk Uma curiosidade,o disco se chama Lisbon, porque é aonde eles são mais aceitos na Europa.

06-Band Of Horses-Infinite Arms

Sou fan do Band Of Horses desde o primeiro álbum.Se for pensar nem faz tanto tempo assim 2007.Hoje em dia 2 anos parecem tão longe.Acho que é porque depois de uma década resumimos tudo a 70’s,80’s.Tudo se resume a numerais que resumem 10 anos.De um ano para outro tudo muda concorda.Outro dia me falaram que os 70’s eram chatos.Como assim?Nos 70’s aconteceram vários movimentos musicais.

Bem...o Band Of Horses estar em seu terceiro disco já é consideravelmente incomum a bandas indies americanas.3 ótimos álbuns é mais impressionante ainda.Com esse disco o Bando Of Horses se consolidou como uma das melhores bandas da atualidade.A cada disco parece que o banda fica mais otimista,este é o disco mais alegre.Mas mesmo assim,não deixa de emocionar a cada momento,talvez pelo vocal triste do vocalista Ben Bridell.Cee Lo, pelo que parece, tb é fan da banda.Fez este ano uma versão de No One’s Gonna Love You.Em retribuição o Band Of Horses fez uma versão de Geórgia. E viva os barbudos tristes,pero no mucho, do rock atual.

05-The Besnard Lakes - Are The Roaring Night

Para mim foi uma inesperada surpresa conhecer essa banda, e ainda ser um dos discos que mais ouvi esse ano.Por que?Porque eles tem influência direta de My Bloody Valentine,Pale Saints e Telescopes.A volta do shoegazer já era esperada a algum tempo.O bom é que bandas como M83 e Besnard Lakes renovaram o que parecia não ter mais o que fazer.Depois de ouvir Are The Roaring Night fui conhecer mais do trabalho deles.Diferente!Barulhento,nota-se uma evolução nesse ultimo disco.A abertura do disco com a música em duas partes: ”Like The Ocean, Like The Innocent” é quase progressivo,mas quando entram as guitarras rasgantes,nossa,destroi tudo.A seguir o álbum só vai crescendo, e até aparece um vocal feminino na excelente “The Albatross”.Espero que n”ao seja mais uma daquelas bandas que aparecem do nada e somem.

04-Hot Chip - One Life Stand

O melhor show do ano aqui no Brasil?Talvez, se não fosse quase no mesmo horário do Pavement, que nem precisou fazer muito para ser o melhor show do ano,depois de um show maçante e nerd do Phoenix.Então o Hot Chip foi o segundo show do ano para mim.Esse álbum é para ouvir em seguida ao do The National.Te coloca para cima em poucos minutos.O Hot chip Tb fez um dos melhores vídeo clips do ano(I Feel Better)e um dos melhores covers do ano Shakira-She Wolf. Fora a discotecagem no D-Edge.Eles tem uma sensibilidade e a cada sempre trazem músicas agradáveis. Thanks New Order for The Hot Chip.

Ao ouvir Terrible Love numa sessão ao vivo num castelo abandonado e sombrio para o site Pitchfork ,fiquei arrepiado,e enguanto o baixava pelo SLSK,vi o clipe umas 10 ou 14 vezes.O álbum é emocionante, e confesso que já chorei ouvindo em público.O show no Lolapaloosa foi um dos melhores do ano.Em seguida ver Green Day é de chorar de raiva.
